Heavy Diesel Fitter

  • $91.25 p/h + penalties
  • DIDO Available, Camp Provided
  • 7/7 Rotating Day & Night Roster

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading provider of heavy earthmoving equipment solutions to the mining industry across Australia.

What you will be doing:

  • Conducting ongoing maintenance, servicing and repairs on heavy mining equipment
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults on Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi machinery
  • Completing preventative and breakdown maintenance activities
  • Ensuring maintenance repairs are completed in accordance with company standards and cost targets
  • Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required

What you will need:

  • Current Heavy Vehicle or Mobile Plant Trade Qualification
  • Minimum 2 years post-trade experience on heavy earthmoving equipment
  • Experience working on Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi equipment
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
  • High Risk Work Licences including Dogging, Rigging, Crane or EWP (highly regarded)
