We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Hire Controller to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised professional who enjoys building relationships, coordinating equipment hire, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role \n

As a Hire Controller, you will be the key point of contact for customers, managing the hire process from enquiry through to delivery and off-hire. Working closely with customers, drivers, and operational teams, you will ensure equipment is supplied efficiently while maintaining high levels of service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities \n

• Manage incoming customer enquiries and rental bookings
\n
• Coordinate equipment availability, deliveries, and collections
\n
• Prepare quotes, contracts, and rental documentation
\n
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
\n
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth project deliveryAccurately process rental transactions and customer records
\n
• Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts
\n
• Support branch operations and contribute to team success
\n

About You \n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in hire control, customer service, logistics, transport coordination, or a similar role
\n
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
\n
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
\n
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
\n
• High attention to detail and strong administration skills
\n
• Experience using ERP, rental, or inventory management systems (desirable)
\n
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
\n
