We are seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Leader to lead integrated care and service delivery across a local Neighbourhood, delivering strong customer outcomes, workforce performance and operational excellence.

Leading a team of leaders, you will bring together Care Partnering and Service Delivery functions to deliver seamless customer experiences, ensuring customers receive coordinated, high-quality support aligned to their goals, needs and preferences.

This is a full-time role based at Maitland/Newcastle

This role is primarily office-based, with a strong on-site leadership presence across the Neighbourhood.

During the initial onboarding and training period, the successful candidate will be required to work full-time from the office. Following this period, flexible hybrid work arrangements will be available, with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office and up to 2 days per week working from home.

About the role

In this role, you will lead a team of leaders responsible for the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred services across your Neighbourhood.

You will:

• Lead and support Care Partner Team Leaders and Care Team Leaders to deliver exceptional customer and service outcomes.


• Drive performance across customer experience, workforce effectiveness, quality, safety and operational targets.


• Ensure customer needs, goals and care plans are translated into coordinated and effective service delivery.


• Monitor operational performance, workforce capacity and customer trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.


• Lead quality, governance, incident management and continuous improvement activities across the Neighbourhood.


• Coach and develop leaders to build high-performing, engaged and customer-focused teams.


• Build strong partnerships across multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholder groups to support integrated care delivery.


• Support neighbourhood growth by aligning workforce capacity and service delivery capability to customer demand.


• Use data, insights and performance metrics to inform decision-making and optimise customer and business outcomes.

What you'll bring

You are an experienced operational leader who enjoys developing people, driving performance and delivering outstanding customer outcomes in a complex service environment.

Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities with high levels of cultural understanding and safety.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated leadership experience within aged care, health, community services or another regulated environment.


• Experience leading leaders and geographically dispersed or multidisciplinary teams.


• Strong people leadership, coaching and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple teams.


• A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to balance customer outcomes, workforce effectiveness and operational performance.


• Ability to use data and insights to drive decision-making, continuous improvement and performance outcomes.


• Experience leading quality, risk and compliance outcomes within a regulated environment.


• Experience leading teams through change, transformation and growth initiatives.


• Knowledge of aged care funding models, regulatory requirements and quality standards will be highly regarded. Relevant qualifications in aged care, community services, health, business or a related discipline are also desirable.
