ABOUT POSITION:

  • We’re looking for a Process Engineering Drawing Intern.

ABOUT YOU:
You must:

  • be studying a relevant degree qualification or a recent graduate.
  • have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • have the necessary technical and soft skills to perform the job.
  • be committed to a career in your field of study.
  • be able to work at least 3 days per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and interpret engineering drawings and design specifications.
  • Convert engineering designs into manufacturing and production data packages.
  • Prepare production drawings, 2D drawings, 3D models, and related documentation.
  • Ensure drawings and manufacturing data are accurate and fabrication-ready.
  • Work with engineering and production teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
  • Ensure proper drawing revisions, dimensions, tolerances, materials, and BOM information.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, or related field.
  • Good understanding of engineering design, manufacturing, and fabrication processes.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, drafting, modelling, and production drawings.
  • Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, or similar.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to translate engineering requirements into practical manufacturing information.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

LOCATION:
The host company is located at Sydney.
