About the Role \n

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our Head Office team. In this key role, you’ll lead the way in ensuring our centres exceed quality standards and uphold the highest level of child safety and compliance.

\n

You’ll work alongside our leadership and operational teams to drive improvement, support regulatory processes, and embed best practices that ensure every Grove Academy centre continues to be a place where children feel safe, supported, and inspired.

Key responsibilities include: \n

\n
• Oversee quality and compliance across the organisation within NSW
\n
• Monitor compliance with ACECQA and state regulatory requirements
\n
• Lead investigations into reportable conduct and ensure regulatory compliance across the organisation
\n
• Develop, review, and refine policies and procedures to maintain consistency and adherence to regulatory requirements
\n
• Manage compliance processes, track incidents, and ensure all reports are submitted accurately and within required timeframes, including NQAITS applications
\n
• Lead TGA's safeguarding strategy and framework, building clear, practical processes that strengthen transparency, accountability, and confidence across the organisation
\n
• Act as TGA's safeguarding adviser, providing advice to operational teams and Grove Guardians
\n
• Sustain a culture where child safety and wellbeing are non-negotiable, with strong protection systems, clear mandatory reporting practices, and robust incident management
\n
• Conduct audits and regular organisation visits to observe practice, maintain accurate compliance records, and drive continuous improvement
\n
• Strengthen assurance by analysing incident and compliance data, identifying systemic risks, and translating learnings into better policy, training, and practice
\n
• Provide expert guidance and training to Area Managers, Centre Directors, and Educators, working collaboratively with senior management to drive consistent standards and a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience \n

We’re looking for someone who:

\n

\n
• Has experience in child protection investigations, workplace investigations, or compliance roles
\n
• Understands the National Quality Framework and childcare regulations inside and out
\n
• Is confident leading reviews, audits, and policy development
\n
• Is an excellent communicator and loves supporting teams to grow
\n
• Holds a relevant qualification in investigations, education, or compliance (e.g. Cert IV in Government Investigations)
\n
• Has a valid Working with Children Check, Police Check, and Driver’s Licence
\n
