Administration & Finance Officer Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Administration & Finance Officer to join their growing team.
\n This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role combining finance, accounting and office administration. You will work closely with the wider team and external accounting partners while gaining exposure to different aspects of the façade and construction industry .
\n As the business continues to grow, this position will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the company.
\n The Role Reporting to the Department Manager, your responsibilities will include:

\n

    \n
  • Managing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
    • \n
  • Preparing and processing invoices and monitoring payments
    • \n
  • Assisting with payroll processing
    • \n
  • Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
    • \n
  • Assisting with financial reporting and general accounting requirements
    • \n
  • Working closely with the company's external accounting provider to ensure financial records are accurate and up to date
    • \n
  • Supporting compliance with relevant Australian accounting standards and requirements
    • \n
  • Managing general office administration, including office equipment, stationery and other supplies
    • \n
  • Coordinating licence applications, renewals and other business documentation
    • \n
  • Maintaining organised electronic and physical filing systems
    • \n
  • Processing bills, expenses and staff reimbursements
    • \n
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider team
    • \n
  • Assisting the Department Manager with ad hoc finance and administration duties as required
    • \n

About You To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:\n
\n

    \n
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
    • \n
  • A minimum of 2 years' accounting or finance experience
    • \n
  • Previous experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and general accounting functions
    • \n
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using accounting software
    • \n
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English
    • \n
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
    • \n
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities
    • \n
  • A proactive, reliable and responsible approach to your work
    • \n
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
    • \n
  • The ability to prioritise competing tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • \n
