About the role: \n

We're looking for casual Food Service Assistants for positions atEastern Health - Peter James Centre , Burwood East . Part of the Eastern Health network, Peter James Centre delivers essential Health services across metro Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities Food Service Assistants: \n

\n
• Maintain a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures
\n
• Preparation and presentation of patient meals such as salads, sandwiches and drinks
\n
• Cleaning and sanitizing of patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery and trolleys
\n
• Preparation of work stations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables
\n

About you \n

\n
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
\n
• Previous experience in a hospital or aged care environment is desired
\n
• Current Food Safety Certificate is required
\n
• Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays
\n
• Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is essential
\n
• Evidence of immunisation for current influenza is essential
\n
