Accounts Payable Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to support the end-to-end accounts payable process across the Mater group. This role is responsible for ensuring supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with Mater's financial policies and controls. This is a 12-month fixed term, full-time position with view to permanent placement, based at our Newstead office.

Salary range: $39.79 - $44.25 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits!

What you'll be doing

\n

\n
• Processing supplier invoices and payments
\n
• Managing vendor onboarding and master data maintenance
\n
• Reconciling vendor accounts and resolving processing and payment queries
\n
• Supporting compliance, audit and governance requirements
\n
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives and service excellence
\n

About you

\n

\n
• At least 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role
\n
• Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
\n
• The ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment
\n
• Experience with D365, OCR solutions or similar financial systems will be highly regarded
\n
