The Gut Brain Clinic is inviting Clinical Psychologists, General Psychologists and Health Psychologists to join our Coorparoo practice.

About the Practice

We are a specialised practice focusing on gut-brain psychology and women's health psychology. We also take general psychology referrals, allowing for a flexible case mix.

Common presentations include:

• IBS and functional gut disorders


• Anxiety, depression, and stress (with or without gut symptoms)


• Chronic health conditions with gut-brain components

The team is small and includes psychologists, gut-directed hypnotherapists, and a dietitian. Referrals come from GPs, gastroenterologists and other specialists.

This position is ideal if you're interested in gut psychology or would like to build skills in this area.

The Arrangement

You practise as an independent contractor with your own ABN.

Revenue split is negotiable based on your experience.

You choose your own days and hours.

What we Provide

Consulting rooms and full administrative support for scheduling and billing, so you can focus on clinical work.

Referral pathways from GPs and specialists

A collaborative peer network with regular MDT discussions

We also offer training on gut health issues and support with gut hypnotherapy training if you are interested in pursuing this.

What we're Seeking

• AHPRA registration


• Professional indemnity insurance


• ABN


• Experience with gut psychology, health psychology or women's health is helpful but not essential.
