We are looking for a Cook to join the team at Eva Downs Station. Eva Downs Station borders the western side of Anthony Lagoon and is located approximately 300 km north-east of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory. The station operates a breeding, backgrounding and trading enterprise, producing high-quality Brahman cross cattle that are predominantly turned off for the live export market.

Key Responsibilities:
\n
Safely perform your job and take responsibility for your safe work behaviour.
\n
Menu planning, food preparation and cooking.
\n
Prepare a variety of Lunch and morning tea and ensure it's placed out for staff to take.
\n
Ensure nutritious meals are prepared for station staff and visitors as required.
\n
Keep a clean, hygienic kitchen and dining room, ensuring floors are swept and mopped.
\n
Prepare grocery lists and maintain adequate supplies.
\n
Maintain kitchen utensils and assist with the packing of meat for the kitchen.
\n
Required
\n
Skills & Experience: Previous experience in a similar role.
\n
Current driver's licence.
\n
Experience in managing a kitchen and providing meals to schedule.
\n
An understanding of dietary nutrition and food hygiene.
\n
High level of organisational skills to plan meals.
\n
Be prepared to live and work in a remote location.
\n
