• Salary relative to experience ranging from $116,981 to $ 129,492 + superannuation and annual leave loading

At DCCEEW, we are looking for an Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Applications Developer (AI & ML) to design, build and deploy innovative AI-powered solutions that deliver real business outcomes.

\n

About the Role

\n

As an AI & ML Applications Developer , you will play a key role in transforming ideas into practical, scalable solutions, working with modern technologies, large datasets and emerging AI capabilities.

\n

We have two AI-focused opportunities available:

\n

\n
• a temporary Microsoft AI focused role facilitating delivery and support of agents in the Microsoft AI ecosystem, and
\n
• an ongoing broader AI Enablement-aligned role that supports the practical adoption, delivery, and uplift of AI capability across the organisation.
\n

\n

In these roles you will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders and contribute to projects that drive innovation, improve efficiency and create lasting value across the organisation.

\n

About You

\n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

\n

\n
• Practical experience designing, configuring and testing lightweight agents, custom agents, low-code solutions, and AI-enabled automation using emerging enterprise platforms, such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry Azure OpenAI Service, Google Gemini AI and Google Cloud Platform.
\n
• Experience developing, delivering, and supporting software solutions across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
\n
• Demonstrated experience in application architecture and solution design.
\n
• Experience working with cloud-based platforms and technologies.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative and scalable solutions.
\n
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance to stakeholders and peers.
\n
• A passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous learning.
\n
