About OzHarvest:
OzHarvest is a leading food rescue organisation on a mission to ‘Nourish our Country’ by stopping good food from going to waste and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. Through our education programs and our advocacy work, we hope to inspire others to change behaviour and help reach the national target of halving food waste by 2030.
About the role:
We are on the look-out for a confident and friendly driver that is passionate about the community, sustainability, and driving. As a food rescue driver, you will spend the workday in our bright yellow van, collecting and redistributing good quality surplus food and delivering it to the various charities we serve around Brisbane, with a smile and compassion.
This is a casual role.

Our vans and trucks require a full open car licence only (no truck licence needed). Our onboarding process includes training on our safety systems, food rescue processes, and includes buddy shifts to get you ready for solo shifts. Our logistics team provides ongoing support in real time to help navigate each day’s food rescue run.
