Taxation Accountant

About the Role

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting and taxation tasks. Working closely with experienced professionals, you will:

• Prepare individual and business tax returns
• Assist with bookkeeping and payroll, including STP
• Help prepare BAS and IAS under supervision
• Reconcile financial records and maintain accurate data entry
• Use accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and HandiTax
• Provide administrative support and contribute to team projects
• Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings

About You

You’re someone who is eager to learn, reliable, and keen to build a long-term career in accounting. You will bring:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, HandiTax or QuickBooks
