The role will consist of but will not be limited to the following activities :
- Experience using Microsoft Project for the scheduling of complex projects and programs of work (MS Project is accessed via Project Online).
- Developing and maintaining a detailed project schedule that clearly articulates all project tasks, task owners, task dependencies, durations, key milestones, all key deliverables, and due dates.
- Tracking the status of all tasks incorporated in the project schedule and identifying actions required to address tasks that have fallen behind schedule through liaising with team leads / managers, including vendor partners.
- Assist in resource capacity planning across the project, using the MS Project Online capabilities.
- Produce weekly progress curves using a recognized methodology e.g. Earned Value Analysis.
- Experience and highly proficient in using MS Project to plan and maintain project schedules.
- Minimum 2 years of large-scale IT project experience where you developed and managed the project schedule.
- Experience with PMBOK / Prince 2 project management methodology (or similar).
- Experience working within a large portfolio with many inter-project dependencies.
