About the Role \n
As a Trade Desk Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our busy trade centre and retail yard.
\n
Your responsibilities will include:
\n
- \n
- Answering incoming calls and enquiries professionally \n
- 100% customer focus – assisting both trade and retail customers \n
- Processing sales through the POS in a professional, timely and accurate manner \n
- Work closely with our Steel/ Hardware divisions \n
- Process orders accurately and promptly for our Trade Division \n
- Coordinate with logistics for timely and accurate customer deliveries \n
- Customer Service and Sales – e.g. timber/ blockwork/ cement and steel. \n
- Picking hardware products from in store \n
- Liaison with Trade accounts, customers and suppliers on status of their orders. \n
MUST HAVES: \n
- \n
- A seasoned professional \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills \n
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment \n
- Reliable and committed with solid work ethic \n
- Must be proficient with outlook, excel and word. \n
- Trade industry exp preferred \n
- Sound knowledge of trade and hardware products preferred \n
- Proven experience with POS systems \n
- Attention to Detail \n
