This role is responsible for providing support services for the management of the Garrawarra Corporate Support Services Department. This position is responsible for working collaboratively with the broader Garrawarra Centre clinical and corporate teams to ensure the smooth operations of cleaning, waste management, linen, stores, food / catering services, HASA and patient transport services. The position is responsible for ensuring the portfolio functions comply with NSW Health, SESLHD and food standard policies, procedures and standards in addition to the National Aged Care Quality Standards.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Corporate and/or Catering Services or relevant equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge and appreciation of the processes of Corporate and Catering Services within in a health or aged care setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in performing a range of management and administrative tasks within allocated timeframe.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare briefings, reports and presentations in line with the scope and responsibilities of the service portfolio.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt work practices to meet current and emerging business needs.
• Current drivers licence and/or a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
• Demonstrated ability to determine priorities for others and delegate tasks to achieve work objectives.
