Next Generation Pet Foods is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our dynamic team in Caloundra, QLD. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting the administrative operations of our company. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, handling inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence. This role is essential to maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the smooth operation of our business.

Key responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email and other communication channels
\n
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are correctly recorded
\n
Maintain comprehensive customer records and update databases with relevant information
\n
Provide product information and recommendations to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions
\n
Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
\n
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer requests are fulfilled and tracked appropriately
\n
Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, filing and documentation as required
\n
Support the development and maintenance of customer relationships to promote loyalty and repeat business
\n
Contribute to team meetings and share feedback to continuously improve customer service processes
\n
What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or administrative support role, preferably within a sales or product-focused environment
\n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
\n
Strong organisational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
\n
Proficiency with computer systems, email platforms and Microsoft Office applications
\n
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and solving problems
\n
Ability to remain calm and patient when dealing with challenging customer situations
\n
Attention to detail and accuracy in processing information and maintaining records
\n
Team player mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments

Professional telephone manner and interpersonal skills
\n
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is highly desirable
