• PPT shift days and times: Monday to Sunday 6.30 am to 2.30 pm & 2.30pm to 7.30pm

• Pay rate - $33.20 per hour + superannuation

• Not for profit employer so pay less tax!

As a member of the Catering team at Jemalong, Forbes, you will be preparing high quality food and providing a great dining service to our residents to ensure a high quality of life.

About the Role:

\n

\n
• Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as required
\n
• Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
\n
• Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
\n

\n

To be successful in this role you'll need

\n

\n
• A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
\n
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
\n
• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential
\n
• Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
\n
• Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
\n
• Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
\n
• NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
\n
