Plastic Technician

Job Description

TAG have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plastic Blow Moulding Technician to join a respected and innovative manufacturing organisation based in Forrestfield, WA. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of plastic extrusion,

\n

and injection moulding machinery, ensuring product quality and maintaining production efficiency.

\n

Shifts Available

\n

12-hour rotating roster - day and night shifts (7am to 7pm / 7pm to 7am)

\n

Must be available for both day and night shift

\n

Approx. 36-48 hours per week

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Operate and monitor plastic extrusion, blow moulding and injection moulding machinery
\n
• Set up and adjust production lines to meet specifications
\n
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
\n
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical and process issues
\n
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
\n
• Complete production documentation and data entry
\n
• Operate a forklift (twin Tyne preferred, if licensed)
\n

Skills & Experience

\n

\n
• Proven experience in plastic injection moulding or extrusion blow moulding (essential)
\n
• Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
\n
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
\n
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
\n
• High attention to detail and quality focus
\n
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
\n
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol testing
\n
