  • Communicate site issues, defects or delays early
  • Work respectfully with clients, trades, suppliers and team members
  • Protect finished work, client property, tools and materials
  • Complete timesheets accurately for job costing and payroll
  • Follow company procedures and reasonable lawful directions

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience as a trade-qualified carpenter in residential construction
  • Current White Card
  • Reliable transport
  • Own basic carpentry tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual and organised
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to take feedback and be accountable
  • Professional attitude around clients and other trades
  • Cyclone rated experience
  • Ability to work independently at a high standard

What we offer

  • Full-time role
  • July 2026 start
  • $45–$55 per hour, depending on experience
  • Superannuation and applicable allowances
  • Opportunity to grow with a local building company
  • 6-month probation period with clear expectations and reviews
  • Flexible start and finish times may be considered where practical with site requirements
  • Standard site hours are generally 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, including a 30-minute unpaid meal break. Approved flexible start and finish times may be considered where they work with site needs, supervision, safety and project timelines.

This role would suit a carpenter who wants steady work, variety, and the opportunity to become a valued long-term part of a local construction team.
