Our client is a large, purpose driven organisation with operations across multiple sites.
They are seeking a Commercial Analyst to join their team and help drive stronger workforce and business performance.
About the role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will turn financial, workforce and operational data into insights that support better decisions. Working closely with leaders across Operations, Finance, Payroll and Workforce,
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing labour forecasts, budgets and workforce performance reports.
- Analysing results against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and opportunities for improvement.
- Partnering with operational leaders on workforce planning, productivity and cost management.
- Reviewing roster performance and helping strengthen workforce efficiency and governance.
- Modelling the financial impact of wage changes and proposed workforce initiatives.
- Supporting funding and regulatory reporting.
- Improving reporting tools, processes and the quality of data used in decision-making.
About you
You are a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with stakeholders and using data to influence decisions. You will bring:
- At least four years’ experience in a commercial analyst role.
- Strong business partnering skills and the confidence to challenge assumptions.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and Power Query.
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and financial modelling.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
Progress towards CA or CPA is viewed favourably. Experience in aged care is welcome but is not essential; strong commercial experience is the priority.
