About the role \n
Reception (primary focus)
\n

Be the first point of contact: welcoming patients, answering phones, responding to emails and managing enquiries.
\n - \n
Schedule and confirm appointments, optimising the diary across multiple clinicians.
\n - \n
Process payments, prepare invoices and manage health fund claims using Dental4Windows .
\n - \n
Maintain accurate patient records, consent forms and documentation in line with privacy and infection‑control policies.
\n - \n
Handle basic admin tasks: stock ordering for reception, mail, filing, and supporting day‑to‑day practice operations.
\n

Clinical support (secondary)
\n

Assist with sterilisation and infection‑control processes, instrument processing and room turnover when required.
\n - \n
Provide occasional chairside assistance across general, restorative, cosmetic and implant procedures as needed.
\n - \n
Support with basic clinical admin and stock duties to keep the practice running smoothly.

About you \n

Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a dental reception role; dental assisting experience is an advantage.
\n - \n
Confident, warm communicator who enjoys small team environments and delivering excellent patient service.
\n - \n
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy practice.
\n - \n
Experience with Dental4Windows is highly regarded; familiarity with CEREC, intraoral scanners or other dental software is a bonus.
\n - \n
Formal dental assistant certification (Cert III/IV) is preferred but not essential.
\n - \n
Australian permanent residency or citizenship required.
\n

Hours: Patients seen from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm; team start time 7:45 am.
