We are seeking an enthusiastic Health Professional (Scientific Officer) to join our dynamic Haematology Department at Macquarie Park.
This is a full-time evening shift position, working 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with participation in the Saturday roster.
You will be an integral member of our Haematology team. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in Flow Cytometry, with experience in other areas of Haematology considered highly desirable. Your responsibilities will include
Performing diagnostic testing and interpreting results regarding haematology, morphology and flow cytology
Conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Ensure quality compliance and standards meet the regulatory framework

Graduated with a Medical Science Degree or recognised AIMS equivalent.
Experience in haematology/coagulation and morphology will be highly regarded
Required to working full-time hours between Monday and Friday 5:00 pm to 1:00 am and rostered weekend work.
Strong communication skills and can effectively communicate key stakeholders
A hard-working, motivated individual with a strong work ethic
