Video Content Creator & Editor
Contract | 2 Days Per Week | Hybrid | Heatherton / Moorabbin, VIC
About the role
Comfortel is looking for a Video Content Creator & Editor to join our Marketing and Brand team, working closely with our Creative Director to bring our products, campaigns and salon spaces to life through video.
This is a hands on creative role for someone who loves being behind the camera as much as they enjoy editing. You’ll work from creative direction and campaign concepts with our Creative Director, helping turn ideas into polished video content across our Australian and international markets.
This is a flexible two day per week contract role, with one day working from our Heatherton / Moorabbin Head Office required for filming and studio content. This will generally be a Tuesday or Thursday depending on your preference, with flexibility to work remotely for the second day.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with our Creative Director to execute creative concepts, campaigns and content for our furniture collections
- Plan and coordinate shoots based on creative briefs and direction
- Film and edit engaging video content for social media, websites, digital advertising and campaigns
- Create short form content for Instagram, TikTok, Reels and other social platforms
- Film product launches, furniture features, campaign content, how to videos, assembly and customer support content
- Edit footage including colour correction, sound, graphics, transitions and captions
- Adapt video content into multiple formats and lengths for different platforms
- Help organise and manage our growing library of video content
- Bring ideas and inspiration to the team while working within Comfortel’s established brand and creative direction
About you
- Strong video editing and videography skills
- Experience creating social media and short form video content
- Confidence filming products and showcasing their features
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or similar editing software
- A good understanding of lighting, composition, audio and camera equipment
- Strong visual judgement and attention to detail
- An understanding of what makes content work across different social platforms
- The ability to take creative direction while bringing your own creative judgement to filming and the final edit
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Photography skills would be highly regarded
- Experience filming furniture, interiors, and products would be advantageous

Our Marketing and Brand team works across product launches, campaigns, social media, digital advertising, websites, editorial, events and brand content, giving this role plenty of variety and plenty to shoot.
