Project Manager
Jabiru Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team for a new five-storey Luxury Apartment project in the Perth Western Suburbs. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and oversee construction projects from commencement to practical completion
- Manage project budgets, timelines and resources
- Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor progress and implement corrective actions where required
- Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and records
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders and project teams
- Identify and manage project risks and mitigation strategies
- Maintain quality standards throughout construction
- Manage contract administration and resolve contractual issues where required
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
- Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, materials and standards
- Excellent planning, scheduling and budgeting skills
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
- Sound understanding of construction health, safety and environmental requirements
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Current driver's licence and willingness to regularly visit construction sites
