About the role
This is a newly created full-time position based in our Sydney CBD office, conveniently located near Town Hall. The role has been created to support the continued growth of the business and strengthen our existing paraplanning capability. You'll work closely with our adviser team and broader support team, contributing to the development and delivery of high-quality, compliant financial advice.
Key responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within the team to deliver high-quality, compliant advice.
- Actively support the development of advice strategies, using your understanding of tax, superannuation and financial planning legislation.
- Assist advisers in developing appropriate and innovative strategies for clients.
- Play an important role within our compliance framework by ensuring advice documentation is accurate, complete and of a consistently high standard.
- Maintain workflow efficiency by ensuring tasks are completed on time and advisers are supported with timely and accurate information.
- Keep client files organised and compliant, proactively managing outstanding tasks, documentation and follow-ups.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
- Provide clear, professional and solutions-focused support to advisers throughout the advice process.
About you
- 3+ years of experience in paraplanning.
- Strong understanding of advice strategies, including superannuation, tax, investments, insurance and SMSF.
- Proven ability to support high-performing advisers with high-quality and efficient advice documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to compliance.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support both advisers and the broader team.
- Diploma of Financial Planning preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
