As leading National Financial Planning and Advice practice who has experienced significant growth in recent years through a combination of strategic acquisitions and organic expansion. About the role

We are currently seeking a self-motivated and experienced Client Services Officer to join the growing team as an Associate Adviser. Working closely with a team of experienced Financial Advisers, Paraplanners and support staff, the successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting advisers and their clients throughout the advice process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step from CSO and develop their technical and advisory capabilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Support your Advisers/Partners in developing and providing strategic financial planning and investment advice, including investment structures, estate planning, superannuation and retirement planning
  • Proactively communicate with clients and identify how the company can best meet their needs
  • Prepare relevant documentation for meetings and take part in client meetings with Advisers/Partners
  • Ensure advice documents are compliant with industry legislation, regulation, policies and procedures
  • Coordinate production of advice documentation and help prepare SOAs

We are ideally seeking the following:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification, industry related.
  • Current industry experience working in an Associate Adviser, Paraplanner, Client Support, or similar role.
  • Strong technical skills with an excellent understanding of Retirement Planning, Financial Modelling, Superannuation and Investments.
  • Strong organization skills along with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize your workload
  • Experienced in the Xplan CRM system and advanced skills in Microsoft Suite.
