Finance Officer
Finance Officer | Full-Time Hours | Temp to Perm Opportunity | Strathmerton VIC
Programmed are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Officer to join a well-established business based in Strathmerton. This is a casual position offering full-time hours, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Working within a busy finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This varied position will see you working across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and general finance administration functions while utilising systems such as SAP Business One, Xero, and other accounting platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
- Payroll processing and administration
- Banking and bookkeeping functions
- Account reconciliations and financial record maintenance
- Working across SAP Business One, Xero, and legacy systems
- General finance support duties
- Administration and business support activities
- Assisting with month-end finance processes as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in finance, bookkeeping, payroll, or a similar role
- Experience using SAP, Xero, and/or other accounting or ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive and professional approach to work
