FCM - the large market, global corporate travel division of the Flight Centre Travel Group is looking for unique Corporate Travel Consultant.

About the opportunity: FCM Corporate Travel Consultant - Accommodation

In this role you will manage emergency accommodation bookings for a national insurance company. You’ll be someone who loves to connect with customers and can show compassion and empathy in times of need.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year travel consulting experience, however this could also be an opportunity for the right candidate to step into corporate travel without a travel background and build up their experience. Our ideal candidate will understand what excellent service means for customers and be business and travel industry oriented. You’ll like working in a team environment, but also comfortable working autonomously.

All about you:

  • Strong Verbal and Written communication with an ability to listen carefully, demonstrate empathy and deliver clear options
  • Experience in a customer service role
  • Ability to learn new systems
  • Strong time management skills and professionalism
  • Multitasking and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines and customer expectations in a fast paced environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A 'can do' attitude

Experience desirable, but not essential:

  • Leisure or corporate travel management
  • Global Distribution System (GDS) - Sabre would be highly regarded!

What You'll Enjoy:

1stYear OTE $80,000 - $85,000 (comprising $55,000 base + uncapped monthly incentive) + super

Training wage guarantee of $80,000pa + super for your first 6 months
