Job Description

The Role:

We're looking for a Technical Consultant to join our Commercial Delivery team. You'll design and build solutions across Microsoft Power Platform and the broader Microsoft ecosystem, and help turn client needs into solutions that work in practice. You'll be hands-on in delivery. You'll work closely with senior consultants on solution design, contribute to technical estimates, and own your build work from start to finish. Some problems won't have an obvious answer. We want people who enjoy working those out, ask good questions, and know when to bring others in.

You'll learn from experienced practitioners and get exposure to a range of clients and projects. As you grow, you'll help improve our technical processes, patterns and standards, and share what you learn with the rest of the team.

There's also room to get involved in how Sensei uses AI and automation, both in our own business and in client solutions. If you're curious about new technology and like testing ideas to see what works, you'll have the chance to contribute and help turn promising ideas into something practical for clients.

Demand for smarter project and portfolio management keeps growing, and so does the need for good technical people. Sensei has been helping clients work smarter for years, and AI and automation are part of where that's heading next.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Do hands-on development work, building Model-Driven Power Apps and coding across the Microsoft Power Platform and broader Microsoft ecosystem, including plugins and custom APIs where needed.
  • Own your build work from design through to delivery, and work closely with senior consultants on solution design.
  • Break down tricky technical problems, try options, and break early when you're stuck or see risk.
  • Follow our technical processes, patterns and standards, and suggest improvements where you see them.
  • Get involved in how Sensei applies AI and automation across our business and client solutions.
  • Act as a genuine ambassador for Sensei with clients and partners.

Desired Skills and Experience

Sound interesting? Here’s the key skills set you’ll need to qualify:

  • 2+ years' experience in technical consulting or solution delivery, with projects you can talk through in detail.
  • Solid, hands-on experience with Model-Driven Power Apps and Dynamics 365 development. Experience writing plugins or custom APIs is useful.
  • Confident with Power Automate. Experience with Canvas Apps or custom pages, PCF, Power BI, front-end frameworks or Office 365 development is a bonus.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with clients, including when things get difficult.
  • Curiosity about AI and automation, shown through things you've tried, built or explored.
  • Any experience contributing to technical estimates is useful, but not expected.

And here’s what we value:

  • People trust you – you're not just technically strong, you're a problem solver.
  • You’re curious – always learning, always exploring what's next.
  • You embrace challenges – the tricky, ambiguous stuff excites you.
  • You thrive in a collaborative, fun environment – work hard, but enjoy the journey.
  • You are values led – At Sensei, we actively live our values every day and are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.

If you're a hands-on technical consultant who wants to keep building, keep learning and grow with a team that backs you, we'd love to hear from you.
