Bar Attendant
We are looking for a friendly, confident and customer-focused Bar Attendant to join our team at Ocean Grove Bowling Club.
This casual role is a great opportunity to become part of a busy, welcoming and fast-paced hospitality environment. With previous bar experience necessary, we are looking for someone who can confidently step into the role and provide a high standard of service to our members and guests.
As a Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while preparing and serving beverages, processing orders and maintaining a clean and professional bar environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and serving members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Operating POS and EFTPOS systems and handling cash transactions
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area
- Restocking fridges, glassware and bar supplies as required
- Following all Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Working collaboratively with Duty Managers and other team members
- Providing consistently high levels of customer service
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confidence working in a busy hospitality environment
- A friendly, reliable and professional attitude
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and presentation
- Availability to work a flexible roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
