Job description

Dynamic Distribution Systems is seeking a capable and proactive PM Operations Assistant to support afternoon operations from the Cannon Hill office. This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who enjoys keeping customers informed, supporting drivers and solving operational issues in a fast-paced transport environment. You will work closely with the National Operations Manager and a close-knit, supportive national team, serving as an important point of contact during the PM shift to help maintain service continuity, accurate records and clear handovers across the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Support daily PM allocations, driver coverage, reallocations and service recovery
  • Respond to customer and driver enquiries, provide clear updates and own matters through to resolution or handover
  • Complete scheduled customer phone and site check-ins and identify service issues or additional support needs
  • Assist with driver recruitment, onboarding, inductions, system access and workforce maintenance
  • Monitor licences, insurances, registrations, inductions and customer-site compliance requirements
  • Investigate driver pay and customer charge queries using timesheets, PODs, allocations, approved rates and operational records
  • Complete timesheet allocations and related data entry while this function remains within the role
  • Prepare accurate end-of-shift handovers covering open jobs, customer issues, driver matters and compliance risks
  • Identify practical process improvements and organic growth opportunities within existing customer accounts

About you

  • Experience in transport, logistics, fleet coordination, allocations, customer service or a similar fast-paced operational role
  • Strong organisation, follow-up and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • A calm, professional communication style when dealing with customers, drivers and internal stakeholders
  • Sound judgement and confidence knowing what you can resolve and when an issue requires escalation
  • Confidence using transport, workforce or payroll systems and Microsoft Office
  • A current driver's licence and the ability to attend customer sites when required
