About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning & Completions Lead to join our team and support the successful delivery of a major project. This role is responsible for leading commissioning and completions activities, ensuring systems are safely tested, commissioned and handed over in line with project requirements.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work closely with construction teams, subcontractors, clients and key stakeholders to coordinate commissioning activities, manage project interfaces and support the safe and efficient delivery of project milestones. You will also oversee Permit to Work and Lock Out Tag Out processes, ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
In addition, some of your key tasks will include:
- Lead commissioning and completions activities across the project.
- Maintain commissioning schedules and track key milestones.
- Manage MDRs and handover documentation.
- Coordinate commissioning activities and monitor project progress.
- Ensure personnel are trained, competent and ready for work.
- Work with project teams and subcontractors to deliver commissioning activities.
- Manage Permit to Work requirements for commissioning operations.
- Oversee Lock Out Tag Out, isolations and system energisation activities.
- Assist with punch list close-out and technical issue resolution.
- Support the handover of systems from construction to commissioning and client acceptance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience leading commissioning and completions activities on major energy, infrastructure or industrial projects. You will bring a strong understanding of commissioning processes, project handovers, PTW systems and safe work practices, along with a proven ability to deliver project outcomes safely and efficiently.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
- NSW Electrical Licence
- Experience in commissioning and completions on large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of MDRs, handover documentation and commissioning processes.
- Experience managing PTW, LOTO and isolation requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines.
