Pilecom is a specialist mechanical installer for utility-scale solar farms, delivering end-to-end solutions across piling, geotechnical testing, and full mechanical installation. With over 2GW of projects completed across Australia, Pilecom combines advanced equipment, in-house capabilities, and experienced crews to execute large-scale renewable energy projects efficiently and safely. We are seeking a HD Fitter to help us maintain our fleet both out of our Maddington workshop and Australia wide. This is a hands-on, hybrid role with Perth and site-based work.

Key Accountabilities: \n
- \n
- Carry out services, scheduled maintenance and repairs to vehicles, plant & equipment. \n
- Maintain and repair drill rigs and piling equipment used on large-scale solar projects \n
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, and circuits \n
- Respond to on-site breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime and fast fault resolution \n
- Perform scheduled servicing across a mixed fleet (drill rigs, telehandlers, generators) \n
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical manuals for fault finding \n
- Work closely with site teams to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently \n
- Take ownership of field-based repairs in a fast-paced, high-production environment \n
- Operate within the Pilecom values. \n

- Will need to attend breakdowns across the whole fleet on site, thinking quick on the feet to get machines back in operation with minimal down time \n
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE \n
The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining & servicing some or all of the following:

- Engines and Generators \n
- Tele-handlers & Forklifts \n
- Drill Rigs \n
- Breakdowns on the above machines \n
- Hydraulics \n
- Competent in utilising computer skills to search manuals / data for servicing and schematics \n

Experience in the following is preferable but not essential:

- Hydraulic tool maintenance \n
- Piling Equipment maintenance \n
- Hand & power tool maintenance \n
- Electrical fault finding \n
- Welding \n
OTHER REQUIREMENTS \n
- \n
- Qual or Trade Certificate as a Heavy Diesel Vehicle Mechanic \n
- Construction Induction Card (White Card) \n
- Experience ensuring that all tasks are performed within WHS guidelines and standards. \n
- C Class Drivers License \n
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety-Risk Assessments, SWMS, JHA. \n
