We are seeking an exceptional andeffective leader to fill the role of Deputy Head of Primary,working in collaboration with the Head of Primary and second DeputyHead Primary. As Deputy Head of Primary, youwill play an important role in shaping this culture, leading withpurpose, supporting and inspiring others, and helping create theconditions in which students and staff can thrive. \nKey Responsibilities:\n

• Assist the Head of Primary to oversee Primary students’wellbeing and safety.
\n
\n
• Contribute to Primary School planning andadministration.
\n
\n
• Guide primary teaching staff in curriculum and teachingexcellence.
\n
\n
• Support excellence and equity in student matters.
\n
\n
• Ensure an ongoing and relevant parental interface.
\n
\n
• Build and develop community relationships.
\n
\n
• Undertake up to a 0.5 FTE teaching load.
\n
\n
• Organise daily Teaching and Education Assistant reliefschedule.
\n
\n
• Current registration with the WA Teachers RegistrationBoard.
\n
\n
• Valid Working with Children card, or willingness toobtain.
\n
\n
• Demonstrated school leadership experience.
\n
\n
• Knowledge and experience of the WA Curriculum.
\n
\n
• Willingness to contribute to wider school programs,including co-curricular, camps or other school-basedactivities.
\n
\n
• An enjoyment of working with students, establishing acaring environment, and maintaining positive links betweenparents, home and school.
\n
\n
