\nSalary range: $79,500 - $85,000 - depending on skills level and work experience + superannuation.\n

We are seeking a full-time Aged or Disabled Carer to join their dedicated care team.\n

\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:\n
\n• Maintain accurate and up to date documentation including notes, assessments and care plans\n
\n• Observe, report and document all change in resident need requirements\n
\n• Ensure maintenance of clean linen, and making of beds for residents\n
\n• Assisting residents with mobility.\n
\n• Accurately deliver laundered clothing to residents’ rooms\n
\n• Assist with the serving of meals assisting residents as required\n
\n• Assist in the delivery of specialized nursing needs for residents\n
\n• Assisting in personal hygiene and dressing\n
\n• Support independence of residents by providing appropriate assistance with personal care in accordance with care plans\n
\n• Liaise with staff, residents, visitors, GPs and allied health professionals to provide prompt and friendly service\n
\n• Act to protect the rights of residents including confidentiality, privacy, individual choice and decision-making\n
\n• Provide emotional support to residents\n
\n• Actively participate in the Care team environment\n
\n• Build and maintain effective relationships\n
\n• Ensure compliance against the Aged Care Standards is maintained where appropriate\n
\n• Be responsive to the needs of the company and its changing environment\n
\n• Attend meetings and compulsory education as required\n
\n• Identify self-education needs\n
\n• Participate in safety and improvement activities for the organization\n
\n• Identify and report areas of risk (including complaints) within the scope of the position\n
\n• Demonstrate adherence to all OH & S policies and procedures\n
\n• Display responsibility for self, team and environment\n
\n• Ensure compliance with all legislation and other requirements relevant to your position\n

\nSkills & Requirements\n
\n• Must comply with having annual flu vaccination and be fully immunised against COVID-19.\n
\n• Must sign a statutory declaration to identify serious criminal activity committed outside of Australia. To comply with the company’s Code of Conduct.\n
\n• One year of full-time on-the-job experience.\n
\n• All appointments are subject to satisfactory police check with no disclosures\n
\n• Certificate III in a relevant field or equivalent\n
\n• Current driver’s license\n
\n• Own transportation\n
