HYDAC Australia is a global leader in hydraulic, lubrication and fluid power solutions. We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join our Victoria team, assembling, testing and commissioning high-quality hydraulic systems for a diverse range of industries.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assemble hydraulic power units, manifolds, pumps, motors, valves, accumulators and lubrication systems
• Manufacture and install hydraulic tube and hose assemblies
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and engineering drawings
• Test, commission and troubleshoot hydraulic systems
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and modifications
• Complete quality and testing documentation
• Support Production and Engineering teams to deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard

What We're Looking For

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Engineering Mechanical Trade or similar
• Minimum 3 years' experience in hydraulic fitting, fluid power or mechanical fitting
• Proven experience in hydraulic system assembly, testing and fault finding
• Strong tube bending and hose manufacturing skills
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Full Australian working rights
• Hydraulic or fluid power training
• Forklift Licence and White Card
• Experience in an ISO 9001 environment
• Lathe and milling machine skills
