As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dealership Accountant to join our finance team in New South Wales.

About the Role

Reporting to senior leadership, you will play a key role in the financial management of multiple dealerships within our group. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career with a business that is committed to developing its people and promoting from within.

Your Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting

  • Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processing

  • Budgeting and forecasting

  • Monitoring dealership performance and key financial metrics

  • Assisting with manufacturer reporting and compliance

  • BAS, payroll tax and statutory reporting

  • Working closely with dealership management to provide commercial insights

  • Supporting continuous improvement across finance processes

About You

  • Previous accounting experience is essential

  • Automotive dealership experience is highly regarded but not essential

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations

  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • CPA or CA qualified (or working towards) is desirable

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
