The Opportunity
We're looking for a passionate and driven Technical Sales and Training Representative to join our Victorian team. You'll be based at our new ARDEX Academy in Campbellfield, Melbourne. This hands-on, field-based role combines technical sales, on-site support and training delivery. You'll help grow the market for our wet area systems across ARDEX, wedi and Dunlop.
You'll spend your time in the market with builders, installers and designers. You'll run demonstrations and training at the new Campbellfield Academy, on customer sites and at trade events, and turn opportunities into long-term partnerships. This is a chance to help shape training in Victoria from the ground up. Key Responsibilities
Grow the Victorian wet area systems market through targeted customer engagement, project support and early involvement in projects, providing guidance on system selection and installation.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with builders, installers, designers, project stakeholders and internal teams, while providing a high level of customer service and support.
Deliver engaging product demonstrations, toolbox talks and structured training at the ARDEX Academy in Campbellfield, on customer sites and at industry events, while contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of training programs and materials.
Provide frontline technical support, troubleshooting and practical problem-solving to assist with successful on-site application, including technical enquiries, product investigations, testing and complaint resolution.
Work collaboratively with Sales, Specification, Customer Service, Technical and Brand teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and support project outcomes.
Represent ARDEX at trade shows, customer forums and industry events, while maintaining strong knowledge of industry standards, building codes and best-practice application methods.
Capture and communicate market insights and customer feedback, maintaining accurate activity, customer and project records within CRM.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience in technical sales, technical support, specification or training in construction, tiling, waterproofing or building materials
A hands-on trade or technical background (highly regarded)
A strong understanding of builder workflows and on-site environments
The ability to turn technical information into clear, practical advice
Confident presentation and communication skills, and the ability to engage diverse audiences
Comfort delivering both classroom-style and practical hands-on training
A proactive, customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills
A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across Victoria
