About the role

Join a global medical technology company in a flexible, part-time role supporting the delivery and management of medical devices across multiple hospitals within the Wollongong and Shoalhaven region. This part-time position is looking for someone 2 days per week & offers exceptional flexibility. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to balance work with other commitments. You'll work independently while partnering closely with hospital teams, Customer Service and Territory Managers to ensure devices are available, accurately managed and ready to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Device Management

  • Confirm device location within the hospital.
  • Maintain hospital device levels to ensure operational requirements are met.
  • Facilitate device supply and distribution to maintain minimum stock levels.
  • Monitor device usage and ensure device movements are accurately tracked and communicated.
  • Conduct regular fleet audits across assigned hospital locations.
  • Identify devices requiring servicing and coordinate replacement devices where required.
  • Maintain regular contact with identified external fleet management stakeholders.
  • Identify cease dates for completed treatments in accordance with records.
  • Provide relevant information to Customer Service to close out outstanding billing matters.
  • Escalate any billing discrepancies or outstanding issues as required.

Portal Management

  • Complete required portal training.
  • Access the portal as required to confirm device availability and status.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date portal information, including device movements and availability.

Device Cleaning

  • Maintain knowledge of the device cleaning processes.
  • Clean devices in accordance with established processes to maintain device availability.
  • Identify and elevate any devices requiring additional service or maintenance.

Reporting and Visibility

  • Accurately document hours worked and hospitals visited.
  • Provide relevant operational feedback as required.
  • Work closely with Territory Managers to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Identify and elevate product or clinical training requirements for external stakeholders to the relevant Territory Manager.
  • Communicate device, customer or operational issues promptly to the appropriate stakeholder.

You will be someone who is professional, personable and confident when representing a global medical technology company within a hospital environment.

You will have the ability to:

  • Communicate clearly and confidently with healthcare professionals
  • Build rapport with nurses, doctors and surgeons
  • Communicate information clearly and concisely
  • Manage your time effectively while working independently
  • Travel regularly throughout the territory
  • Always represent the company professionally

The Territory

This role will cover the Wollongong and Shoalhaven territory.

Travel throughout the region will be an important part of the role. You will require your own insured vehicle and a valid driver's license.
