Content Creator & Social Media Specialist
Content Creator & Social Media Specialist
Place Redcliffe Peninsula – Scarborough QLD
Join a growing, collaborative team based in our waterfront Scarborough office, where property, people and Peninsula life give you plenty of stories to tell.
We’re looking for an experienced content creator to help tell the Place Redcliffe Peninsula story across video, social media, digital and print. You’ll join an experienced, collaborative team, working alongside our head of marketing, business owners, sales agents and property management and support teams to bring fresh ideas to life through filming, editing, design and publishing.
You’ll have room to experiment with new ideas, explore AI and creative tools, and create content that makes people stop, watch, connect and remember our Place.
About the role
This is a hands‑on role for an experienced creator who enjoys developing ideas, working with people and making things happen.
You’ll plan shoots with the end result in mind, turning footage, interviews and supporting visuals into a range of content with a clear purpose for every piece. Alongside video, you’ll create graphic design materials that keep our brand consistent across digital and print.
What you’ll do
Bring fresh ideas each week and turn them into an achievable content plan.
Film and edit reels, stories, posts, carousels and longer videos, getting multiple outcomes from each shoot and adapting content for each platform
Create content covering office culture, agent profiles, monthly updates, property management and property campaigns from coming soon to sold, including client milestones worth celebrating
Help our business owners and agents feel confident on camera and strengthen their profiles through our office channels
Showcase the people and culture that make Place an attractive brand and team to join
Create on-brand flyers, social graphics and campaign materials
Take content through approvals, scheduling and publishing, and maintain an organised, reusable content library
Manage and grow Instagram and Facebook, develop LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube, and use performance insights to improve results
Keep multiple projects moving, prioritise competing deadlines and communicate clearly with the team
What you’ll bring
Proven filming skills, including lighting, audio, composition and directing people on camera
Strong post‑production skills in CapCut or equivalent software, with an eye for pacing, hooks and storytelling
Graphic design experience and a portfolio showing your own work, with Canva experience preferred
Experience managing social channels and using insights to improve relevant audience growth, engagement and enquiries
Initiative, creative judgement, attention to detail and the ability to move ideas forward independently
Confidence to contribute ideas, openness to direction and constructive feedback, and the ability to apply revisions and see tasks and projects through to completion
Energy, a collaborative approach and the ability to stay organised under pressure
Curiosity about AI and tools that improve creativity and efficiency, with sound judgement about accuracy, permissions and brand quality
Property photography and drone photography or videography experience would be highly regarded, but are NOT essential.
Who this will suit
You’re someone who notices a story and starts thinking about how to bring it to life. You enjoy getting behind the phone/camera, helping people feel comfortable in front of it and finding the edit that makes a video work.
You take pride in producing work that connects with the right audience and makes a visible difference to how our people, properties and brand are seen.
What’s provided
A great Place to work + a work Mac laptop and iPhone, plus access to our DSLR camera, microphones, DJI Osmo phone stabiliser and storage equipment.
Some flexibility is needed for occasional Saturday filming or events, with arrangements agreed in advance.
