We are seeking passionate and committed Teachers' Assistants to join our vibrant growing school community from Term 1, 2027.

New Hope Christian Schoolis a special school providing Christian Education for students with a mild to moderate level of intellectual delay or Autism in Kindergarten to Year 12.This co-educational Christian learning community is committed to developing and nurturing its students.New Hope Christian School is located within the grounds of Pacific Hills Christian School and is a part of the Pacific Group of ten Christian schools, with six of these schools located in regional NSW.Each student is unique, and we aim to develop the full potential in each individual by providing a mixture of individualised and small group instruction and support. NewHope Christian School has a clear vision to honour Christ in all its programs and practices. Each staff member is a committed Christian and holds strongly to the belief that we are all created and loved by God.
Applications are invited from those with a passion for working with students with additional needs, who enjoy working collaboratively and who wish to be a part of a caring and innovative school community. Experience working with students with a disability is desirable but not essential.
To be effective in this position you will have:
- A passion to support students with special needs
- Well-developed interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Initiative and capacity to work with minimal supervision
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Ability to facilitate a safe work environment
- Qualified or working toward a qualification in Education Support or a Special Needs Certificate
