Solutions Property Service is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Newcastle NSW 2300, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our clients' properties. This position is essential to our business operations, as we rely on our cleaning professionals to uphold the high standards that our clients expect and deserve. What you'll be doing
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitisation of residential and commercial properties according to established protocols and client specifications
- Dust, vacuum, sweep and mop all areas including floors, surfaces, furniture and fixtures
- Clean and maintain bathrooms and kitchen areas to the highest hygiene standards
- Empty waste bins, replace liners and dispose of rubbish appropriately
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools in a safe and effective manner
- Use appropriate cleaning products and chemicals safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Report any maintenance issues or damage observed during cleaning activities
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and complete work within allocated timeframes
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times
- Ensure all areas are left secure and locked after cleaning is complete
What we're looking for
- Previous experience working as a cleaner in residential or commercial environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards
- Physical fitness and ability to lift, carry and move equipment as required
- Knowledge of appropriate cleaning products, techniques and safety procedures
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanour
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one if required
- Current driver's license and access to reliable transport for travel between locations
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and locations as needed
