Workshop Supervisor

Hussey & Co is a growing baby leaf salad farm based in Maffra, committed to producing high-quality fresh produce. With multiple farm sites, we pride ourselves on efficiency, innovation, and maintaining high operational standards.

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team. This role will support the Maintenance Manager and act as second-in-charge of the maintenance team, ensuring all equipment and machinery are maintained to a high standard.

This role will be based at our Maffra farm but will require occasional travel between our other farm locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day workshop operations


• Assist in leading and coordinating the maintenance team


• Maintain and repair farm machinery, equipment, and vehicles


• Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed


• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently


• Support the Maintenance Manager with planning and team supervision


• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records


• Ensure workshop safety and compliance standards are met

To be successful for this role you will have the following skills/experience:

• Proven experience in a mechanical or workshop management role


• Strong leadership skills and ability to support/manage a team


• Experience with agricultural machinery (highly desirable)


• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills


• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively


• Willingness to travel between farm sites when required
