Pharmacy Technician – Mackay Brand's Pharmacy (Full time or part time)

$30-$36/hr, depending on experience and qualifications

Want a pharmacy role where no two days are the same? Join the inpatient pharmacy team at Mackay Brand's Pharmacy, servicing the Mater Hospital, a 105-bed private hospital with medical, surgical, maternity and high dependency wards, plus theatre and emergency. You'll keep medicines moving to the wards and work side by side with pharmacists, nurses and doctors.

The role

Preparing, packing and supplying medicines to wards and patients

Stock management, ordering and receiving, and keeping the dispensary running smoothly

Supporting pharmacists with discharge supply and medication charts

Maintaining accurate records and meeting quality and safety standards

Build your qualifications. Certificate III in pharmacy support preferred, but not essential. For the right person, we can fund your certificate.

About you

Certificate III in pharmacy/hospital pharmacy support preferred (not essential)

A genuine willingness to learn, and a careful, organised approach to your work

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and a clear communicator

Willing to work within group policies and procedures
