Mars Forklift Services – Wetherill Park NSW

Mars Forklifts is an independent Australian owned family business located in Wetherill Park NSW. Over the past 28 years we have grown to be one of the largest independent supplier of forklift and scissor lifts in Australia, specialising in Hire, Sales and Service of these equipment. Due to the growth of our business we are searching are looking for safety focused Truck Drivers with a HR licence to join our busy branch in Wetherill Park.

This full time position is available for an immediate start.

About the role. What you'll be doing

  • Responsibility for the safe operations of tilt tray, completing daily deliveries and collection of equipment and external client pickups and deliveries.
  • Loading and unloading of forklift and access equipment/machinery
  • Securing and restraining equipment in a safe manner
  • Transporting equipment in a safe manner to and from client sites
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the yard and warehouse areas
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Maintain an exceptional commitment to safety.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Must have current HR license and previous experience driving a tilt tray truck
  • Strong problem-solving, time management and communication skills
  • Proactive approach to work with strong work ethics
  • Commitment to maintaining safe work practices.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Experience in warehouse environment would be highly regarded
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
  • Safe driving record and a commitment to maintain a safe work culture
