Remuneration: $69,288.44 to $70,624.41 per annum + superannuation & leave loading
As a member of the Works Team, the Works Employee supports the maintenance and construction of Council's roads, drainage, footpaths, bridges, and other infrastructure assets. Working closely with Works Plant Operators and other team members.
About the Role
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the maintenance, construction and rehabilitation of Council sealed and unsealed road repairs, drainage infrastructure and related assets.
- Assist with and undertake maintenance works on Council's footpaths, bridges, signage assets, and bridge inspection activities as required.
- Complete assigned tasks to required standards of quality, safety, timeliness and cost effectiveness.
- Support Works Plant Operators and other team members to deliver maintenance and construction programs in a safe and efficient manner.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in the maintenance of Council assets.
- Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- A valid Driver's Licence.
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
- Satisfactory National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
