Bland Shire Council Services Public Holiday Closure Monday 5 October
Bland Shire Council services will be closed on Monday October 5 due to the Labour Day public holiday in NSW. This includes Bland Shire Council office, Library, Visitor Information Centre, West Wyalong and Ungarie Landfills, Bland Community Care and the Bland Preschool.
Garbage collections will remain unchanged.
Bland Shire Council services will reopen as normal on Tuesday 6 October 2026.
Early Childhood Teacher

We are currently seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to promote children’s wellbeing, development and learning. Help them to develop values, attitudes and ways of living and learning that will make them effective members of our community
Minimum 15 hour week.
What we are looking for in you
- Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or Diploma and actively working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Current Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certificate or equivalent.
- Current CPR certificate.
- Current Police Check.
- Current Working with Children Check number.
