The Opportunity:
The Senior Operator - Plasma Scanning is responsible for leading and coordinating plasma scanning activities to ensure the accurate identification, tracking, and reconciliation of plasma units within the ERP system, maintaining inventory integrity and full product traceability. This role provides operational oversight and technical support to scanning activities, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and operational requirements.
In addition to performing plasma scanning, the Senior Operator supports manufacturing operations by ensuring the timely supply of plasma and paste materials, troubleshooting process issues, coordinating workflow priorities, and assisting with the training and mentoring of team members. The role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient material flow, data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and product quality throughout the manufacturing process while driving continuous improvement initiatives within the operation.

- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance by adhering to EHS requirements, GMP/GxP regulations, TGA requirements, and all applicable procedures and guidelines.
- Receive, scan, store, sample, and manage plasma inventory, including quarantine and rejected units, ensuring accurate ERP transactions, traceability, and documentation.
- Supply plasma and paste to manufacturing areas in accordance with production schedules, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through the review, update, implementation, and enhancement of processes, procedures, housekeeping, and hygiene practices within the Plasma Scanning area.
To be successful:
- Education: VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Demonstrated warehousing, distribution, or inventory management experience, preferably within a manufacturing or regulated environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of cGMP, GDP, GWP, inventory management principles, warehouse operations, and ERP systems (preferably SAP), with the ability to utilise basic statistical analysis techniques.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements to warehouse systems, processes, and operational performance.
- Communication & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a strong customer focus.
