Early Childhood Teacher ~ Froebel Melbourne

Work days: Monday to Friday

Froebel Carlton,Froebel Parkville and Froebel Fitzroy Northare early learning services run by thenot-for-profit provider Froebel Australialocated in the heart of Melbourne. Our program is shaped by immersive language learning (with a second language focus on German at Froebel Parkville and Froebel Fitzroy North / Spanish at Froebel Carlton), inquiry-based learning through our Little Scientists program, and frequent incursions and excursions that connect us with our local communities.

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified Early Childhood Teacher, holding a current teacher registration with the Victorian Teacher Institute (VIT)
  • Someone who communicates thoughtfully and builds trusting relationships
  • A team player with energy, initiative and emotional maturity
  • An educator excited by immersive language learning and inquiry-based STEM (no German or Spanish required!)
  • A strong understanding of and commitment to child safety and ethical practice
  • And above all, someone with warmth, positivity, and a heart for children

Please note: the annual salary for this position is between $75,000 and $98,000 and is dependent on level of experience as per the 'Educational Services (Teachers) Award 2020'.
